The Garbage Queen is a climate communication page dedicated to educating the public about climate science and solutions. It was founded by Alaina Wood in 2020 and has an audience of over 300,000 people worldwide.

Alaina (she/her) is a sustainability scientist and climate communicator with a background in stormwater and solid waste management in both the public and private sectors. She holds a degree in sustainability and geography from the University of Tennessee and is based in the Appalachian Mountains.
